B1 service after 11k miles?
if you read the owners manual, it out lines what an A service and what a B Service entails.
B Service entails; oil and filter change, inspection of front and rear brakes, parking brake inspection, tie rod ends, steering gearbox, and boots inspection, Inspect suspension components,Inspect driveshaft boots Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS/VSA)
Inspect all fluid levels and condition of fluids
Inspect exhaust system
Inspect fuel lines and connections.
They are purely inspections, or to see if they need service, doesnt necessarily mean you need those components replaced.
Remember, its a machine that has moving wearing parts.
an inspection can nip a problem in the bud if caught early enough, that's why we have inspections.
short answer: just get your oil changed.

Bored? Read about here and here. Finally here.
The bottom line? The GM got moved to a Kia dealership, the service manager got canned and I think the service writer (his name really is Beaver Ho) quit.
