Acura EPP?

Did anyone of you have some type of EPP on your RDX? The dealership said it was some protective coating on the paint but I'm not sure if it really works. I was planning to put opit coat 2.0 on my new car.

I'm not a fan of paint "coatings" applied to new cars. At some point, the clear finish has to wear through or turn yellow. If you really wanted to do this, you can buy the materials for under $100 and apply it yourself. There is another product called "Liquid Glass" that actually is a coating put on the paint. I still like to wash & wax the car myself.

What did they charge you for it, and did they say you had to come back at certain intervals to have any re-applications?

I think it was a 700 dollar package. No they didn't say anything about re-application.

My dealer applied Zaktek for about $300 or so for a 3-year yearly reapply schedule.
