Question Accessory Wheels

any chance Acura comes out with some new accessory wheel options around the time the 2015 model comes in? I'm not a huge fan of what they have now, however i haven't seen them in person and i have heard a few people say they look better IRL as opposed to pics. a 19 or 20 inch option would be nice as well.
also why are these wheels so expensive? Is there a quality difference between the Acura rims and the random stuff i see on tire rack/discount tire etc? or am i paying for the name?

In person the Diamond Cut wheels are nice, but at $2,248 (MSRP) for these wheels, they are expensive. The wheels from Tire Rack are in the $100-$150 each range, and most are made in China. The finish won't last as long, as I have learned from New England winters, but for snow tires they are good enough. The alloy that is used in the less expensive wheels are a little softer, so hitting a pot hole may damage the rim. You get what you pay for.

19" Acura Accessory wheels. I paid $525 + $120 shipping for the set of 4. Brand new in the box.
I found them on eBay.

Not sure what quality these are but the pattent looks nice on the Subaru Crosstrek. Not buying the vehicle but noticed the wheels.

those look nice, are they from the mdx? have you noticed any change in ride quality/handling with the bigger rim?

The listing indicated they are for the RDX models, part#08W19-STK-200
I chose to go with Toyo Versado tires which are a very smooth and quiet riding tire. I didn't notice any degradation in ride quality. They are definitely quieter than the OEM Michelin's.
