2017 RDX Elite
My 2014 RDX Tech's lease is up in a month. I have my eye on a 17 blue/grey RDX Elite. (Canadian Model). I was sorry it did not have the black interior which I prefer and further I was annoyed that the brochure had a US RDX pictured in this colour combo. Anyway I will likely get it anyway.
While I had my 14 in to get the snow tires removed, they gave me a grey 17 RDX Elite as a loaner (similar to an advance in the USA I am sure). This upgrade from my 14 is quite amazing. What I noticed is as follows:
1) The car seemed smoother and quieter and the acceleration slightly more potent.
2) The Navi has much better graphics and the numbers and letters are much more refined. Seems like quite an upgrade.
3) I love the 2nd screen for the audio, and it also doubles as a touch screen for imputing the address, and you also have the dial where you can put in the address with the centre dial for the navi. This will shut up all of those who like the touchscreen. I personally like using the dial but it has been a while since I used the touchscreen for this (2004 and 2006 MDX).
4) There are all sorts of collision and lane departure nanny's that will likely be useful but I did not have enough time to play with them.
5) The acuralink seems to be something I would not subscribe to after it expires.
6) It has power folding, and dimming mirrors. Not sure how good the latter is as I did not have it at night, but the folding mirrors will be handy at times.
7) The centre display between the speedometer and tach is now colourful and has partial navi display, collision warning display, compass, etc. Very nice touch.
8) Rain sensing wipers. I have had these before and I don't care for them.
9) Heating and cooled seats work very well. I like them.
10) The rear vents and seat heaters are nice but I am never back there so I don't care about this.
11) The new remote is a significant quality upgrade over my 14, and it has a remote starter. I likely will never use the latter but who knows.
12) Bumper sensors. Not sure I need this but it works well.
I am very impressed with this vehicle which is why I am getting another one.

Advanced
So I have the US version (advanced) and I'm curious what you mean by 6 and 10.
Does the Canadian version have powered side mirrors (they fold in)?
Does the Canadian version have heated end seats in the back?

Null and proud of it
The blue/gray... I might have even dreamed about that one...
Excellent combo...
That and Basque red!!!
The red looks better from a distance, but the blue is more *stunning* in person...
Also, I saw a 2017 at the dealer the inter day when I was having my 07, really surprised at that...
I know Kia released the 2014 Sorento in February 2013, wich I thought was odd...
But heck, I've barely started seeing 2016 RDXs, now there all 2017s, wonder if that will show on the used market, like 2016 had a short run August to March or something....
Never seen that before...
