2016 RDX Elite (Advance) ACC

Hey guys, I have an 2016 RDX. And im not sure if this is a problem or not.

Here is a example on whats going on, I set my acc to follow the car a head (at a speed). It works fine, it slows down and speeds up fine. But when the car in front of me stops, my car slows down and when the speed reaches below 40km/h, I see a msg on the instrument panel saying "ACC off". And doesnt slow down/stop until the CMC comes into effect (Very close to car in front). Also after a complete stop, it doesnt resume. I tried pressing RES.. it just displays ACC off.

Thanks

I believe ACC is only meant to be used above a certain speed, would have to read the manual again to confirm. But that's most likely what's going on, below that speed it turns off for safety reasons.

I have noticed that the RDX will adjust to the speed of the car in front of me, but I have also noted that if the distance between me and the car in front of me starts to get too close (I have it set on max) or the speed too low that the RDX quits adjusting and the cruise control just shuts off completely. I'm almost to the point of not even using the cruise control when there is any traffic. I know... I know... it's working as normal OR take it to the dealership. If that's "normal" I'll just forego the cruise control in traffic and if it's a trip to the dealership - from my one trip there I think I already know that they will not be able to duplicate it and I will have wasted 2 hours travel time plus the time it takes them to find out they can't duplicate it.

Okay, I did some research and found that it needs Low-Speed Follow function and RDX doesn't have it.

Models that have it are:
MDX : Base
TLX : Elite (Advance)
RLX : Tech

I'm disappointed that a honda civic 2016 has this feature and RDX 2016 fully loaded doesn't have this.

Not a surprise really. They leave strange things out of the car. For instance- why doesn't the US model Advance have heated rear seats like the Canadian top of the line RDX?

We get rear heated seats and power folding mirrors on the tech trim. But we pay WAY more than you guys do.
