2014 RDX w/Tech Pkg backup camera
 

On my 2014 RDX w/Tech Pkg, my backup camera display showed brown in color when back up to green grass area. Is this normal?

Is your grass dead?

Do you have a picture? Put the car in reverse and then take a picture of the screen.

Grass dead? No, on my 2012 TSX is showing green as it should be. I will attach picture later on.

Its normal and there is nothing you can do. The only thing that can help a small amount is brighter backup lights (only effective at night of coarse)

Yes, the RDX reversing camera does not show the grass as green color. Sometimes grey or brownish. Weird though.
