2014 RDX: Electrical system is dead, dead, dead.
Hey all,
So yesterday I got in my car, drove around to do some errands and came back home. Car was running fine, no particular issues. When I got in the car to go somewhere later on, I pressed the start button and the dash started to light up and the car started to turn over and then stopped dead. Now there is no electricity at all. The car is essentially a brick. Lights don't work, doors don't lock/unlock, nothing. I replaced the main fuse and nothing. Tried to jump the car. Nothing. Even attaching jumper cables didn't get the lights or flashers or door locks to work. Battery was replaced within the past year, have had literally no problems with the car before this happened. Any thoughts what the problem is? Thanks!

I know you said you replaced the "main fuse," but just want to ensure that you did in fact replace the main fuse. It's about a ~$15 part and you have to unscrew it to remove it. Are you getting any power to the fuse block? On the other side of the fuse you replaced? Battery connections are good on both ends (not only at the battery terminals?
Not an RDX but helps show explain replacement of the "main fuse" -
The other obvious thing is that fuses just don't blow so assuming this fuse is your issue, you will need to do some investigating in terms of how/why it blew to begin with. Are there wires underneath the fuse box that are touch other parts they shouldn't be?

Sounds like a very simple problem of missing one of the main ground connections, or a blown one of the main fuses. But if, in order, most likely which fuse box has no voltage, you need to take a volt meter and check everything.
