We actually still have a Drive-In theater nearby. We usually go once or twice a summer, just for the nostalgia vibe and the ability to watch a movie without someone next to us using their cell phone or whatever. Anyway, my earlier Acura's did not do this - but about an hour into the movie, the interior lights came on BY THEMSELVES. Yes, I checked. All doors shut, nothing was touched on the dash or steering column. The car WAS in the ACC mode, as the FM radio is used to hear the movie soundtrack.

The only way I could shut them off was to turn off the car, turn it back to ACC, and let the lights dim after opening and closing the driver door. Then, about an hour later, it happened again. WTF?

I am thinking that this is some sort of reminder in case you leave your car in ACC for too long, but does anyone know if this can be defeated, or the time frame lengthened? Has anyone else had this happen? Very strange.
