What is the evaporating point of ATF?

like if you pulled out the dip stick and heated the fluid on it how hot would you have to get it to evaporate?

You're looking for the "boiling point":

http://www.texacoxpresslube.com/imag...trans_atf3.pdf

(500-degrees F BP)

And here's a link to X-1R automatic racing tranny additive:

http://www.x1r.fi/pdf_msds/auto_trans.pdf

(570-degrees F BP)

As for the BP of the Acura stuff -- who knows?

If not for the flammability issues, I'd say just boil it on a stove. However, being that the flash point is generally about 100 degrees lower than the BP, you might have a nice fire.

Try this search string on Google (or other search engine):

boiling point "automatic transmission fluid"
