What would the warranty be for a replacement transmission.

Not to long ago I had a replacement tranny installed. actually it was my 3rd.

But now having problems again and I am now over 100k miles.

DO the replacement trannies have a warranty that would be honored ?

They dealer should warranty the work for a year or roughly 12K miles from when the tranny was installed. I would find out.

If its your third one, and it fails again, if you complain and go through right channels they will give you a new one, even if its after 100Kmiles.

This is correct. If your dealer isn't a douche bag they will agree that the transmission did not fail again due to wear and tear and that there is a design flaw in the transmissions that makes them fail at any time, at any mileage. My dealer has replaced transmissions at 130k before fully covered under warranty.

Yeah...call them and ask. I have replaced a few trannies at over 100K as well. Everyone knows the trannies have problems so most likely they will not make u pay.
