Question Should I Be Concerned?

Hey guys,

This is my first post...

I just bought an '02 CL-Type S yesterday with 76,000 miles. The transmission has not been replaced but everywhere I look this seems to be a very consistent problem.

I am afraid my transmission will go out soon. What would be your best recommendation? - I will need to buy a powertrain warranty as well - if you knnow of any good companies I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks!

not all the trannies are bad.
I have a 01 with 83K and stock tranny.
I wouldn't worry too much until after 105K.

excuse me....109K
There is endless questions about this...just search.
Dealerships are pretty good about free replacement. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

So - they know this was an issue... and they would just do it? Or will I need to show them all the history of transmission flushes, etc?
