I wanted to post this in the general forum since no one really seems to look in the TRanny forum any more... do you think that this cooler would do the same job as the comptech or standard cooler..... pleaselet me know your thoughts.

Comptech uses the B&M Stacked plate cooler in their kit. I've had really good luck with that design of cooler and prefer it because it allows air to flow through it. The one you're looking at may work but it relys more on a heat sink and radiating the heat rather than air exchange. If you place that in front of the radiator or condenser, I would imagine that it would be more disruptive of air flow than the Comptech or B&M tranny coolers.
