my tranny is taking a dump..

so im driving my car and it shifts from 1 to 2 some what jerky. then from 2 to 3 jerky and hesitant. the shift from 2 to 3 also took a lot longer than usual. the engine kept reving in between the shifts then when it finally catches gear 3 it jerks very hard. also sometimes in WOT it does not even switch to gear 3. By down shifting and pressing the gas hard will result in a hard jerk. form 4 to 3 and from 3 to 2, not 2 to 1. sound like a tranny failure to you guys? i made the appointment for next monday. last time i went there for similar symptoms, the tech said it was normal... i look at him funny when he said that... and he also insisted that because i was showing him the jerk by pressing the gas a little he could "pull the warranty". i stressed that it didnt matter how hard i pressed it, the tranny should not jerk when upshifting and downshifting. being that there has been sooooooooo many problems with this damn tranny, why would he even try pulling it off as if there is no problem or that it was my fault? any way, what should i do? demand a new tranny even if they say.."oh.. thats normal." thanks for the input.

i went to drop off my car today at the dealer to get my tranny replaced. of course they are covering everything except for the uninstallation of the SC. sound normal to you guys? i have to pay 300 bucks for them to remove the S/C and put it back on so they can replace the tranny. BS or no?

warranty

depending on the mileage of your car you should get a new tranny replaced for free. Those are symptoms of a bad tranny. Mine did the same thing. I think if you take it back to the dealership where it was bought, you shouldn't have a problem. Take a copy of the warranty letter to them also. If you don't have one you should be able to find one on this website or call acura of america for one. Next time the tranny misses 3rd gear dont downshift just let it rev for about 30 seconds at a high rpm and eventually the check engine light will come on. Then they can't argue with you. Thats what i did

i got the new tranny put in and it works fine. total cost. $0 car is a ton smoother now. Hopefully it will last longer than the one i had. Otherwise i may have to build it up., but have no clue how to pull that off. Dr. Evil is a no no. but i think i can take it to a tranny shop and have them build it bullet proof for me. correct me if im wrong.
