Hesitant in accelerating - Tranny issue?
I experienced something while driving yesterday that make me wonder if my tranny is getting some wear on it. When cruising around 45, I got a 1-2 second loss of acceleration and engine power, I mildly decelerated and saw my RPMs fluctuate about 300-500. I pressed the gas pedal and the acceleration woudln't pick up, then I pressed a little harder and it seemed to come back. There was no jerkiness or loud crunches from under the hood that I heard, just that hesistance in forward motion. I've experienced this 2 times before in the month I've had my car. My pops says it sounds like a transmission issue. What do you all think?

Mine does that once every 3 months about 3 minutes after startup. I think it has something to do with the torque converter. More frequent during the winter. Several people reported this months ago as I recollect.

Yeah this was about 3 minutes after startup. The few other times it's happened, it's been soon after startup as well. I was almost out of gas so I was thinking maybe some impurities had settled to the bottom of the tank which possibly caused a hiccup, who knows. How long did the "hiccup" you had last for?
