Good Dealer/Bad Tranny.

Went to Fresno Acura on monday to get tranny looked at because it was slipping on the 2-3 shift and I needed a new actuator installed. I expected them to hassle me about my mods but they didn't say anything, just ordered a new tranny.Yesterday they call and tell me the tranny is in, bring the car tomorrow.

So today I go up there at 8am and by 4 they have it done and ready for pick-up. I take it on the freeway and drive for about 15 miles before I decide to check if the actuator was working. As i pass a big-rig, i bounce off the rev limiter on 3-4, so i take my foot off the gas and it wont get back in gear for a few seconds.

Long story short, the new transmission lasted 15 MILES. It now overrevs by 1000 rpms before shifting on 2-3. I am very frustrated with the tranny, but at least the dealer has been cool.

What's the dealer got to lose? He gets paid well by Honda to fix the trans. The more the better. My
