Fill ATF without removing Jet Kit

My wifes' 03 CLS just had the Jet Kit installed. The dealer sevice rep said the Trans fluid was burnt. He wanted $120 to flush. I could not believe him. Only 21.5K on the car, and a new trans at 8.8K. When my wife got it home I ckecked it. Yes,we have Toast. Soooo..
9qts. of Drain and Fill. Not wanting to remove the Jet Kit I looked at the Dipstick Tube..3/8"
Dia. Yes,I need 3/8" inside Diameter rubber hose. I found an old Clothes Washer supply hose,
cut it, pushed it on Dipstick tube. Perfect snug fit. Then I screwed the hose fitting on to the
ATF bottle. Not perfect, but it sealed. Turned it up and drained it into trans.Repeat 3X3
Will post pics if I can figure out how.
Hope this is helpfull.

FYI -

Removing the jet kit is simple. Their is a bolt holding a plate down that attaches the jet inlet into the trans filler bolt. Remove that bolt, and wiggle the jet inlet out of the bolt. Done.

I just did this today. Was easy .

mike, i dont understand your post.
your vehicle was taken in for the trans replacement @8.8k then recently at 21.5k you had the replacement trans in under the recall and they installed the oil-jet . now you have burnt trans fluid?
the recall states that if burnt fluid is noticed, fluid is to be draind and a photograph of #2 gear assembly is to be taken if the gear is found to be dis colored then acura corpoate makes dicision on oil jet install or rebuilt trnsmission replacement. so, if your tech stated "fluid was burned then they should have replaced fluid during oil-jet install. if this is a subsequent visit then the oil-jet fix isnt working and another trans replacement is in order, isnt it?

repeated stall/Elec. probs. At 12.5K Acura Bought car Back..Yes Acura BuyBack... New ECM/harnessinstalled , then auctioned for $21K. Info from Acura service and carfax. I knew the history ,Wife liked car soo..Cheaper than a Lexas GS430..I wanted
I pushed the dealer and Acura, no luck. Gear was OK. No free flush. Wife says its smoother now. When this trans dies I'll put a cooler on. I hope this is more clear.
