5th tranny
I have 82,000 miles on my car and its on its way to it's 5th tranny. Congratulations to me. 
p.s. I only have CAI and axle-back HKS's for performance mods. Does anyone else have more tranny's replacements than me?

I believe you are destroying your tranny. Are you doing Neutral Drops? Changing to Reverse while the you car is moving forward?

I don't believe this guy... something is fishy here..
1) 82k / 4 = 20k miles per tranny (no way, unless he does not know how to drive auotmatic)
2) It seems to me that this guy is happy and worryfree.
I believe anyone has to go through 5 trannies on a $30k car would be hella pissed, of course except morons.. I would lemon lawed it long long time ago..

I swear I don't do anything stupid like some of you guys said i do. The only thing i do is maybe speed or hit WOT really fast, but come on, everyone does this. And to the others, I am only 21, it took me 2 years to save up to get this car. I also have ALOT of mods done to it, which also took me a long time to get. It kinda feels like a waste if i just get rid of it now. You guys think Acura will do something about it? If so, you guys have a number I can call or someone i can talk to?

CLPOWER thanks for sticking up for me, greatly appreciated. But i have a question, If they take my car back and I have the original parts still in my garage, can't I just take all of my mods off and IF i get a new car or something, put it back on? Thanks CLPOWER.

yes you can do that, it's always good to save stock parts cause the car is worth more if it's stock usually
do you plan on getting a new CL if this works out? What mods do you have?

He should have the car bought back by Acura after 3 trannies..
Flooring it does not destroy the tranny. If he gets the latest tranny and ECU he should be okay. Otherwise, let him find another Acura dealer. It could be the nstaller fault.

well, mr. insult-first-and-ask-questions later can speculate and blow as much hot air as he wants, but no one here cares and listens. 
But, I think its a safe bet, AcuraTyeSboi, to build a case for a lemon law replacement or settlement of your car for a 6spd with HMC. Might want to hire a legal expert though to work out the details.

I would've taken legal actions but the thing is i have over 80k miles on my car. My car is my toy and my only source of transportation thats why. KavexTrax thanks. Amirsafdari, thank you too. Amirsafdari, how were you compensated for? If your not allowed to talk about it then I understand, but any info would be greatly appreciated. yes, but atleast acura finally acknowledged it and gave a 100K warranty on the tranny.
