Wheelspin from Standstill?

I see many of you reference getting wheel spin. I don't get this, even with VSA off - maybe I've got one of the "slower" ones?

And, no, I WON'T torque brake the car.

Yeah, if you step on the gas good this car will spin wheels for quite a while. It's impressive. Even my friend with a 400HP Camaro Z28 was impressed when I stepped on it with him in the car.

With the stock tires I would get tons of tire spin. The amount of spin would depend on the road surface. The tires would scream comming off paint strips at intersections with only a touch of throttle.

With the non-stock sticky tires I now have, I only get a quick "rub" on start off (D5, no VSA, regular gas).

If you have the stock tires, your on "blacktop" pavement, and the car is broken-in (more than 600 miles), you might want to take the car to a dealer.

(just a thought)
