What to replace in a Suspension Refresh?

Hi Guys,

I'm having the Eibach Pro Kit installed and I want to replace anything that might be worn or warrant replacement after 160k miles. Any advice would be appreciated!

I know I need Bumpstops:
(2) 1722-S84-A01 RUBBER, FR. BUMP STOP (SHOWA)

What about the Mounting Cover:
51686-S84-A01 RUBBER, FR. SPRING MOUNTING

Or Dust Cover?
51689-SP0-004 COVER, DUST (SHOWA)

Here's the diagram that I'm using:

PS. I'm also going to ask my mechanic to shave 30mm off the bumpstop, read that on an old thead.

Might as well get #11 and 7.

Also examine the ball joints, sway bar bushings and end links, control arm bushings, and the radius rod bushings will most likely need to be replaced. Take a look at the tie rod ends as well.

replace any rubber bushings while you are at it. Also replace non greasable parts with greasable ones

In the following diagram, I assume that #10 & #11 take care of the radius rod bushings, is #12 the control arm bushing?

I've recently installed an Eibach front sway, with moog end links so the only thing left is the ball joints, which I know nothing about.

My mechanic says he will take a look to see whether these parts need replacing, but I'd rather have it all done at once if that'll save costs. Thanks for all your help thus far guys.

Yes, 10 and 11 are the radius rod bushings. You need 2 of each. Keep track of which PN aligns with the diagram number, as they have to be installed in a particular order.

You may want to purchase Spring Silencer Tube(s): PN 52442-S0X-A01 if they were not part of your new spring set.

Thanks for the help guys, I had the Eibach Pro Kit installed today and my ride is much better. No more bottoming out on the front-end and it feels a little bit more solid than the H&R's. Appreciate all your input.

BTW, Eibach's are shipping with the coil silencers pre-installed now
