So, tell me why is it that a 200 Dollar tire can SUCK so bad; I'm sure there are "stickier" tires out there, and I'm by no means in "the know" about all the performance types of tires and the finer points of detail when it comes to this point and that point on a given tire, but Surely you don't mean the New Michelin SUCKS as bad as you imply !

Yeah they do. Ths stock tires are touring type tires...good all around, bur push the performance envelope...and it goes to shit..it squeals, whines, and screams!! It's only $200 because its OEM...and designed specifically for the TYPE-S by Michelin. I have them in front...because there's still good tread on them....but i have re730s in the back. Best bang for the buck tire out there...of course there are better tires, but only like 2-3 and they all cost at least $50 more per tire.

I love the Toyo T1S Proxies. Great in dry, wet, and on the freeway with tons of water coming down at speed.
My own opinion/comments:
Some very expensive tires that end up on BMWs and other cars get there for reasons other than their being the "best" tire. For example, if brand "X" can say, we come with a Viper, or a BMW, they can convince a lot of people to pay double for a tire that they can get for half price. It seems obvious, doesn't it -- how many times have I seen someone say, well, "Brand X comes on the Viper and BMW, so it must be the best."
(Before I get jumped -- it is just an opinion, and think about it a bit...)
By this same logic, we got some of the most "confused" tires ever put on a car. They work in snow (kind of), but they tread is designed in a way that makes handling in water terrible (not to mention new pavement).
Look at the stock MXM4 tread pattern -- it looks like it is pushing the water back on itself, causing it to float up in heavy water.

Okay, save me the math stuff (in spite of the fact my college degree is in Math) ... since you went with the 235/45/17 on stock rims, is your speedometer still correct? If not, how much is it off + or -? Thanks.

Simple answer (with the Toyos, the 235/45-17 are so close to the stock tires, that it is hard to tell).
The RE-730 in a 235/45-17 has a revs per mile of 819 vs the stock tire's 823.
So, the speedo will show about 1% hot. (If the speedo was perfect, and you were showing 100 MPH with the stock tires, you would be doing 99 MPH with the RE-730s)
OK -- NO MATH...

M3Sins: I just (500 miles ago) put on the TOYO Proxes T1S 235/45-17 on new rims and so far I really like them. MUCH better than stock tires on road-holding/cornering. I think they are a great value for what they are. I paid $165/ea + $25/ea mounting & balancing.
sigs21: The TOYO Proxes T1S are supposed to be really good for wet (rain) traction and anti-hydroplaning. I can't say I have personal experience with that statement since I have not driven them in hard rain as of yet, it's just what I have read. They are SUMMER only and should pretty much SUCK in snow -- not made for that. I have kept the stock rims/tires and plan on putting them back on for yet another Pennsylvania winter coming up.
lead_sled_dog: I am fairly sure that the % difference in speedometer reading is only about 1/2% to the slower (indicated speed is more than actual) since the overall diameter difference between the 215/50 and the 235/45 is only about 1/10".

I'm sure you meant 235/45-17. The point I was making is...
The Miatta and other Tire calculators don't take the actual tire into consideration. To get the exact speed difference (or a closer match), you can go to the tire's Revs Per Mile and use that to get a better idea of the difference.
If you look through the different makes of tires, they will have different "Revs Per Mile" and "Overall Diameters" despite the fact that they are all 235/45-17 tires.
Here is the Math for the RE-730 in a 235/45-17 vs the stock MXM4 in 215/50-17 using the data from Tire rack for each exact make of tire:
813 / 823.0 = .9878493317
So, at 100 MPH (indicated), the RE-730 would be actually going 98.8 MPH (-1.2%)
=================================
Here is "exact" data for the TOYO T1S Proxies in 235/45-17 vs the MXM4 215/50-17:
818 / 823.0 = .9939246659
With the Toyo T1S, the 100 MPH (indicated) would actually be 99.4 MPH. (-0.6%)
DIFFERENT TIRES/MAKE --> DIFFERENT results!!
