Dont go back to the stock tires. Over priced and do not last nor perform.

I went with the Falken ST-115's.. Great tire for the price.

Might want to try posting this in the Second Generation area. Might get more bites..

i got my Toyo Proxy 4s from Discount Tire for about $100 a piece. They match internet adds, so just search for them and when you find the lowest price, print out that page and take it to them.

I got 61K on my first set on my 2001. 85% highway miles. They don't give the best handeling, but they are excellent for gas milage. They don't do any one thing extremely well. They do everything fairly well.

Of the budget brands I've heard good things about :

Falken
Hankook
Kumho

Make sure you get at least a 91 load rating and preferably 92. 93 is probably overkill.

93 is not overkill. It's what the factory manual says you should use.

IMO, 91 is the minimum, but the car is so heavy in the front and can put so much power down, that a load rating ABOVE 93 couldn't hurt. Remember, the stock tires are 93 XL rated too. (Acura now says that the XL rating is not a requirement, but they changed their tune.)

Add the S-03, PS2, GS-D3, and other tires that are getting great reviews.

I see you already got the stocks but I thought I'd chime in with the Kumho ASX's I recently put on mine after 67k on the stocks. I wanted a little better ride/noise/handling than stock and feel as though I got it. I went 235/45 but the mileage has gone down a bit and they are a little pressure sensative. Other than that, I like them. Very quiet and smooth with good grip.
