VR Speed Rating
Stock tires have a VR speed rating
What mph is that? the only thing I can find is "Over 130"
but over 130 isn't really a maximum
I don't plan on testing this out or anything, just plain curiosity

be careful...131mph and whammie, no more tire.
no speed ratings aren't a maximum but rather a rating for what the safe max speed the tire can still perform at. so as long as your not cornering everyday at 130 you should be ok. but i believe the tires will be ok if you decide to run the car up to 140+ on the hwy a few times. your personal safety will however be greatly reduced at that speed.
