I tried searching on here and the internet...i am looking for pics of these rims on the cl... Anyone ever see any?? Ones i am looking at are 17 x 7 with 40 offset... Any problems with fitting? Also, anyone know the hub bore on volks??

 

Your fitment will be fine.....supprized you dont wanna go a lil bigger in diameter, with the money that you are going to spend! And I believe that Volks have a hub bore of 71, so you will need hub centric rings! My Rays that I had needed them, but lets wait for Phillip and others to chime in on this.

 

they won't look good imo, thick spoked and 17", useless.

at least get 18", but i did a chop with 19"s

Wow...i like it alot... I found a local guy who is selling used ones 17 x 7 with 40 offset...i wanted to go 18's but...besides nyc streets are awful... is the offset too low for our cars?? I have seen elsewhere that 42 would be the lowest we could go...thanks for the help guys!!

My 18's feel like 17's....

Anything with a lip is going to look a bit smaller...so keep that in mind.

I think that look really good actually, maybe it's the fact that they're volks.

 

Theres a guy in here who got 19x9 work vs xx's to fit on his cl with a 43 off set and It didnt look to bad
