Tire Size Help

I've got a 01 CL (not s-type) with stock suspension. Got a set of 19 x 8 RDX wheels that i want to use. What size do you think would fit best on my ride?

225/40/19?
225/35/19?

Can i go wide as 235?

Does anyone have pics of these sizes on a unmodified CL?

Thanks

first of all, is the bolt pattern correct for our car? I know some of the newer acuras are switching over to the 5x120 bolt pattern (IE MDX, RL)

You should run a 235/35-19. The RDX's use a 45mm offset IIRC. Theres plenty of room.

Hi everyone
Am new here got the 03 cl-p about a month ago, can anyone tell me what would happen i was to put S2000 17" on my car, the tires are

215/45/17 front

245/40/17 rear

I really like aftermarket rims but prefer to stick to stock alloys cos they don't get bent that easy and a bit less ouch when you hit the curb. Will i have issues with the rear.

Thanks

The front tires will need to be taller. They will make the speedo read too fast.

IIRC the S2ks offsets are in the high 50s so the wheels themselves wont poke out.

Thanks for the reply but will two diff sizes on front and rear have any significant affect on the car other than the speedo?

By the way found this website

Theres a chance that the difference will mess with VSA and ABS since the sensors will be reading different speeds between the front and back.
