Tein SS Coilover VS Tein Basic Coilover

I've been reading throughout the forum trying to absorb as much info as possible and I still need some more feedback. The main thing I am looking for is a smooth ride. And what is the main difference between the 2???? Thanks in advance for any feedback

 

SS=adjustability in dampening level
basis=not adjustable in dampening level

and both are height adjustable

 

i dont know if its just me.. but i wish i went with the SS, opposd to the basics i have... the basics are too soft and i bottom out a lot..

 

how low did you go? cause i have 2 finger gaps and it rarely bottomed out. I'm on 8 clicks from stiffest

 

He has no gap on his setup. His stock wheels tuck. I just got the SS and haven't had a chance really to mess with it.

 

im on tein SS with about a half-1 finger gap. my POS spc kit bottoms out on the front all the damn time.
