Tein SS Coilover...

Hey guys,

I have decided to go with the Tein SS coilover dampening kit, but I'd appreciate your input regarding the pillowball upper mounts. The SS is available with or without the pillowball upper mounts. Any experiences, info., comments, suggestions would be welcome. THANKS...

You don't really need it with the pillow ball mount, but it will be a necessary if you want to hook up an EDFC to the coilovers at some point. Other than that, they are pretty good coilovers. Sometimes a bit noisy, but I like them.

No. Only cars with struts(no upper control arms) can do that. Camber has to be adjusted by adjustable ball joints or control arms.

IMO, it's well worth the upgrade to the SS-P if you love the on-the-fly adjustability and full potential of the Tein SS with the EFDC...

Thanks everyone. The info. was helpful. I'll make a decision soon. I'm leaning toward the pillow ball mount, as it will allow me to add an EDFC later if I find it necessary to adjust dampening rather often. We'll see...THANKS again.

does the upper pillow ball mount have the rubber bushings? if it only has a bearing won't the ride be pretty rough..
