Tein High-Tech or H&R OE

Which one?
H&R OE will lower the car about 1" all around
Tein High-Tech, according to their website will lower 1.2" all around.

I will be going with Tokico Blues and I'm trying to avoid going too low to not deal with a camber issue if possible.

Let me know how you like them. I just spoke with someone in town that is/was going to install them and he said he prefers H&R. He said he doesn't like any of the Teins except the coilovers. He says the the Tein springs can be inconsistent with the size of drop.

The part number is 51858-55 (for Honda Accord V6 98+) Got them for $127 shipped from www.howbarmotorsports.com

They might still have the deal on the front of their website.

My Comptechs are rusty so I'm getting them changed. 99% sure I'm going to replace them for Tein High Tech springs. H&Rs are good -- would go OE (50103) since I have a TL-S (heavier than a CL). Don't think you could go wrong with either choice.

i am very interested in the Teinz b/c I do not want to have to deal with camber issues but alas, I wont be able to put those on until after this winter. Twin Cities sux for weather If someone gets these put on they should post pictures. I have heard the end sags a bit more than the comptech drop. :blaze:

Whoa, back from the dead. The Tein H-tech will be a little softer than the new Comptech springs. The Tein H-tech's drop is 1.2" front and rear.

phipark, did you get the tokico blues? how are they holding up?

I have the htechs on stock struts right now, but am contemplating if it's worthwhile to get the bilstein struts.

Yeah, I have the HP's. They are holding up just fine. I recommend them.

That answers my question too. I liked the H&R Sport drop a lot. But the OE is not too bad.
