does anyone know what the setting is on the tein basics. i know they are non adjustables but would like to know at wat dampening level their set at. for instance the SS have 16 ways, i wanna know if the basics are set at for example 8 or something.

how much did you guys pay for your basics?

 

i have basics, i paid $500 NIB, can't really compare to SS's tho because I never owned them

 

"I spoke to a rep for Tein at an import show and he said that with the Tein SS for a close to stock ride with alittle firmness he would recommend putting the dampering level to 8(depending on your road conditions). I asked him what are the dampering settings on the basics and he said there set to 7 1/2 - 8."
