Tanabe or Tein H.Tech??

Which would you choose? I'm torn between the two. The Tanabe's are supposed to give the same drop as the old CT's (1.5F/1.0R). The Tein's give 1.2F/1.2R, but seem to be different from car to car. I've found the Tanabe's for $180 shipped, which is a good deal. So, what would you do?

There's only been a few posts about both of these springs.

I think only one or two have posted on Tanabe.

About 5 of us now have Teins. I find that the Teins are pretty close to the Comptech drop, but not really raked.

Do a search. I think everyone that has installed the above springs have posted pictures.

Edit: My own thing. I didn't know anything about Tanabe and their quality. I knew Tein and their long well received track record. This was one of the things that tipped the balance for my decision...plus the gold color is kind of cool, FWIW.

Teins are the best. It is a perfect drop. Doesnt kill the ride, improves handling

heres a pic of the drop

I like the slight rake look.

I gotta replace my Comptechs and I was leaning towards the Tanabe Springs.

I've had the comptechs before and replaced them with the h.techs and if I could do it over I would go with the tanabes only because I prefer the rake look. So I feel it boils down to that, if you want the rake=tanabe, if not then=h.tech

Thanks, guys. I just ordered the High Techs and Tokico HPs. I think I wouldn't like the rake look much.

it refers to the old comptech springs which used to have a 'rake look' Meaning the front dipped a little bit lower than the back.

Slightly raked look = H&R 50103

No rake = H&R 51858

If you have to choose between the two... go with the Tein. Any other choice... H&R.
