Sway Bars or Strut Bar?
Noob here. Just bought an '02 CL-S and trying to decide which upgrade to buy first. I've run a search and haven't been able to determine whether new sway bars or a new front strut bar would be more effective for reducing body roll/sway and improving cornering.
Also, are there any strut bars that are viable upgrades besides the CT Ti Series Front Strut Bar. $330 seems a little steep. I've read about the neuspeeds, but I want a full replacement bar.
Thanks in advance for any advice

Sway Bars will do more to help the suspension than a strut bar, especially on a stock CL since its already equiped with one.
The Cusco strut bar I believe is a full replacement bar as well.
Also lowering the car itself will improve the handling a lot. Lowering the car and adding sways will make a huge improvement in handling. A strut bar is more cosemetic, but it will help a little.

Doesn't the CL have stock sway bars too? I had a feeling the sways would be more effective since they're in the front and the back. So basically the strut bar is cosmetic? $300 for looks seems like a waste to me. No one has noticed reduced body roll from the strut bar?

There is one. Check out Excelerate's group buy for sways. He has '04 TL rsb's for $115. I might get one. But about that front strut bar...does it really work better than the front sway bar?

I installed the Cusco STB before any other suspension mods. Helped a little with turn in and steering feel but not totally noticable. I mean if the stock suspension is rated at a 5 or 10 then the Cusco personally made it 6 to 6.5 of 10.
Since we are on suspension talk, (this may help craptastic as well) if only choosing between rear or front sway which route would people go? I dont push the car hard enough to worry about massive over or understeer but would like to reduce body roll in general. I already have H&R sports and tokico blues along with cusco stb. I was thinking about getting the 04 TL CT Rear Sway, or possibly just do the front with Neuspeed solid sway. Any suggestions? Which one (front or rear) replacement will yield less body roll? (Sorry to kind of hi-jack your thread, but maybe you are wondering the same questions anyway.)

Strut bars are helpful for plus sizing and wider tires. Not really helpful in improving handling. I have the front strut bar in my VW and there's hardly any noticeable difference.

I ran a search before, but little changes in the syntax bring up completely different results. Now, about that 60 sec. time limit between searches
Btw, still wondering if it's really necessary to replace the stock stb or front sway bar. And do the CT sways really make the ride noticeably stiffer?
