Stock tires suck!!
ARGH! Man, these tires bite!!!! I only have 17k miles on them and i can't even push the throttle 1/4 of the way down without peeling them out. It's cool for passengers but dangerous when trying to merge into traffice quickly. I have never autocrossed and the majority of my driving is on the highway. I've rotated them every 3k miles and the tire presssure is good. 
Looks like i maybe the next board member in line for Dunlop 5000's

Same thing happened to mine, I have only 15,000 miles on them. I just replaced them with Mich Pilot Sport A/S. I'm holding onto the stocks, so when I get rid of this car in 5 years I won't have to buy new tires.
Don't wait, just get the new tires. I should have done this months ago
