Stock Height ???
Stock Height ???
This may seem like a stupid question, but I am trying to lower my car proportionately to the stock ride height. I was just wondering if someone could take a measurement of the height of hightest point of the front fender to the ground as well as from the highest point of the rear fender to the ground? I have coilovers installed now but I think the drop doesnt look right. I feel like the back end is sitting too low.
Thanks
Thanks
I measured mine when it was stock a while back, can't remember what the figures were but the rear fender is lower by about 1/2" than the front but it "looks" the same height unlike BMW's which a lot lower than the front.
If you adjust the height so the car is level you'll have more gap on the front and it'll "appear"to be sagging. I just measured mine and the height of both fenders is 24 3/4" but the car is about 1/2" lower in the front measured at the bottom part of the body. This is with a full tank. As the tank empties the rear gets higher and I get a slight rake
Just adjust it how you like. If you don't like it adjust it again. That's the good thing about coilovers. Just remember the weight of the gas affect the height. Just depends on if it's half full or half empty
