Hi i just bought a used car and the first week it ran real nice like always and then it started to give me probs. I don't know much about cars i thought it was making the squeaking sounds due to breaks bcuz it happens when i use the brakes. It doesn't always do it with just me in the car but it seems to do it everytime it alot more when i have people in the backseat. When i bought the car the guy told me he put new brake pads on the car, and since the problem has came about i've taken it to a mechanic they thought it was that it was the wrong size tires so i bought new tires and the problem continued, they just looked at the springs and say that they were fine and they don't know what the prob is. wanted to know if any of you had an idea about what they can b...its a 99 grand am gt and they're not just squeaking it sometimes makes a different sound it reminds of the sound of the pavement on a highway the loud noise when u drive off to the side if any of you know that noise and the squeaking sounds like brakes seems to b coming from the back.
