I have a 2003 6speed w/AeMcai,comptech headers, sways, springs w stock shocks, aftercat exhaust and a chip. The car is very fast for all motor. Oh also have aem pullys. handles well. The ride is a little stiffer than stock w much improved handling. I embarrassed a G35 the other day. The comptech products cost more but you get a perfect fit and my Acura dealer stangs behind comptech
products as long as they do the install.

compared to what? 2000 dollar rims? 3500 dollar supercharger? 600 dollar exhaust? the chip is less than 3% of the cars new value. if you wanted cheap parts, you shoulda bought a neon.

You'll be fine with the Eibachs. I currently have Eibach with 19x8s. No problem at all. Anyways, you wanna buy my Eibach Pro-Kit. It's been used for 5k miles. I'm upgrading to Tein SS. I'm asking $175.00 + shipping. If not then, check out http://www.c-c-c.net/CustomCarCreati...Page/index.htm

They have good prices for Eibachs and H&R.

Can't go wrong with some CT's, good look without sacrificing ride quality. Can even pick up a set of used ones in black market for excellent prices.

Comptech. Looks AND the best performance matched for our cars. Still cannot believe the way Acura designed the OEM springs for our CL-S.

The CTs give the CL a raked look. IMHO, I would go for H&R Sports with Konis. I have H&R springs on all 5 of my other cars, they are by far the best I've ever owned (I've tried Eibach, Neuspeed, you name it). Don't forget to remove your rubber sleeves from the stock springs and transfer them to the H&Rs.

I just put on Eiback last week. car came with dealer installed 18" and I had a 3.5" front wheel gap and a 3" rear. Now I have just about 1.5" in the front and under 1' in the rear. Car looks 100% better and the ride is frim but not uncomfortable. I needed a good drop for looks. I also almost never have 3 or 4 people in the car so I am not worrying about rub. Cost me $196 + $100 for the install. Good luck. ps: I used Eiback on my Camaro that was set up for road racing and I like them.

Yeah you absolutely can just swap out the springs and still ride on the stock shocks. Many people on here have done it with over 30k+ miles on that combo and no problems to speak of.

However eventually your stock shocks will need to be replaced due to the after market drop wearing them out quicker then normal. I did both the Comptech Springs & Koni Yellows combo at the same time so I can't comment on how the ride was.
