First, edit that so someone can read it.
Second, welcome to the board.
Third, your stock shocks will probably last 10k-20k, but it differs from car to car.

I honestly don't think that h&r oe springs won't cause significant greater wear than would stock springs. More radical spring/suspension combos with stock shocks would.

I wouldnt say that, I have CT springs with stock shocks which were install by my Acura dealer in January 04 and about two weeks ago I started getting noise from the front left wheel and it happen to be the dam stock shock, it blew with leaking oil all over the floor. I only got about high 5k out of them. I am pissed, but oh well !! Total miles on my car 03 6spd CLS is 9789 miles. Not abused at all. Car for the weekends.

Your comptech's have more drop than the oe's do....and 9k miles (even under back conditions, ie. living on unpaved road) wouldn't cause them to fail that quickly. Have you talked to Acura about it possibly being a defective shock?

If its a defective shock, do you think they are going to change it out under warranty when I have altered suspension on the car.

I would replace shocks also at the same time if your $$ permits.
