So I'm rubbing a wee bit

Only in the back and only when I have someone that's like 200+ lbs in the car with me. Should I roll my fenders (worried about my paint chipping)? Should I sell my TL rims (1" wider than OEM) that I really, really like and go stock? Should I shave my fenders (cringe!)?

I'm leaning towards rolling my rear fenders. Someone talk me down off this ledge or just let me jump! Thanks guys.

just roll them properly (ie with a fender roller) and it's fine. If done right there will be no chipping. A shop should heat the fender a bit with a heat gun as they roll it.

I called a local shop who does fender rolling and the guy made it sound like a coin flip as to whether or not they would chip. I'm nervous to hurt my baby.

A lot of guys have their fenders done without paint chipping, it shouldn't be an issue with a decent guy.

I actually had my guy take an angle grinder to my fender with great results. He covered the bare metal with rubber undercoating.
