Rota Wheels?

I have never heard Rota wheels mentioned on this site. Looked at their webpage and saw two models that looked alright. 19lbs. for 18". Built to ISO and other standards. Have not seen them in person, have you guys? I know, they aren't Volks or OZ but they aren't priced like those either. Some of the prestige wheel manufacturers might as well use unobtainium in the process. Thanks for reports. Sieze ya.

my boy has Rota's on his civic, i don't know the model, but they are basically Spoon knockoffs, but A LOT cheaper...he just painted them black, who gives a F*K ??? they look like spoon rims, can't tell at all, and they still light as hell, i think they're only a few lbs. heavier anyway, but if your going 18's, i wouldn't trust it...they probably crack easy...

take a look here http://www.machiii.net/machiii/html/Rota_wheels.html

from what i hear, they're made in the philipines. many other wheels are made there as well (RH Evo ?). they seem really light and i'm sure they're cast so i'm skeptical about how strong they are. i'm tempted to get a set just for the hell of it because they're just so inexpensive.
