yes, 5x114.3 for our CL and TL, RSX etc... comes in chrome and in 17", 18" & 19". The offset is +50mm which is as close to OEM as possible without touching the inner suspension since the width of the wheel is 7.5" instead of stock 7.0", so that is why the offset is 5mm less than OEM. the wheels will also tuck, like stock if the car is slammed. once again, these wheels are in no way meant to be on any car than the Honda accord V6 and various Acura vehicles, they will fit perfectly. Trust me, i did 6 months of research and development finding all the proper info down to caliper clearence and back spacing. And I would not produce a wheel that i wouldn't put on my own car with pride.

Wait. The width of our stock wheel is 6.5 inches. And the offset is 50mm.

Just making sure that we're on the same page, Ron.

thats for us tlers, but the cl is 7. rondog seems to be a smart dude, so i doubt he would pour tens of thousands of dollars into wheels that will be useless.
i think those are some nice designs you got there!

you are entering a very competitive world there rondog, but you seem to have done your homework and all looks in order. good luck, and keep us updated when wheels come in with pics.

Oh, I didn't know the CL came with 7 inchers. WTF? Why do the TLers get screwed?

According to an offset calculator, a 7.5 inch wide tire with 50mm offset would extend an extra 13mm and the clearance from wheel to strut would be 13mm less. Is that going to clear on the TL, without rubbing?

Here's my issue with that offest though. I dislike the way the stock wheels sit inside the wheel well. I'm not saying I want them to stick out mexican style, but I want the sidewall to fit close to flush with the fender lip without rubbing.

Thats how I like the fender lip to tire sidewall relation to be. How many people that you will be selling the wheels to actually need that much offset so that they can tuck their wheels? If I'minthe minority thats fine, just curious.

Very nice wheels! Depending on timing, I would like to be in on the GB whenever that take place also. Looking to change things up a bit on my CL. I'm doing my taxs as soon as I get all my forms.

The lower the offset, the closer the hub-mount of the wheel is to the centerline of the wheel. that is why high offset wheels usually have flush face and lower offset (20mm) have a deep dish. Now since the offset is 50 instead of a stock 55, the wheel is 5mm farther fom the suspension, but then the width was increased, so it kinda makes up for that, just divide the width by two and add it to the inner lip and outer lip. On top of all that, the wheels don't exede 8" width which was a big decision for me. and i've seen 19" x 8.5" with a 45 offset on a TL-s dozens of times. I am oing to make a few more calls before production just to verify, but I'm 99% sure it will fit as perfectly as possible. Also there is some space to spare on the inside of the wheel where the suspension is, the stock tires bubble out and the aftermarket ones don't bubble out as much when you plus size.

Rondog: Will you be carrying brushed-metal rims too? As much as I like them, those are just a little too shiny for me and probably would not work given the climate and where I live...

I'm considering machined face option on hyper silver with clear coat, but With my budget right now, I would want to conserve my funds for optional diameters and applications rather than optional finishes. but if this takes off, I will open up with more choices in textures and materials...

yeah, i designed the wheels and realized afterwords that it does look similar. there is so much you can do to a circle with spokes to make it unique. anyway, here's the other wheel:

when they are built we'll find out, but I'm guessing so, since the spokes are thin and there is no inner lip...

Any chance you could PS them onto mine, and for shits & giggles maybe try putting the 19" G-racing Kobe's on it to. I suck at PS so any help is appreciated.

And I agree that 19x7.5 is a much more desirable size than the typical 19x8 or 8.5. I doubt too many honda/acura guys would want to run 245 or 255's in their fwd's anyways.

I love both styles of wheels. I am planning to upgrade my wheels in the spring. I hope that we can work out a group by by then. Nice job.

Thanks for the photoshops, Ron.

I still can't make up my mind, though. They are both focking beautiful. I guess I'll have to wait 'til I see real wheels on a TL.

If there would be a group buy for this, I would be all over it like a fat kid on a fried chocolate chip donut.

ron dog, are u sure 19x8.5 with a +45 offset will fit a TL? keep in mind that the CL has a bit more room.

there was a dude on aworld that had 19x8.5 with +45 offset lowenhart br5's and they didnt fit even after he shaved the fenders. hell, some people with 19x8 +49 offset rub too.

I am running 19x8.5 with an 45 offset on my TL without any problems, and I guarantee I drive around lower than most anyone else.

that's why I'm doing 19" x 7.5" with a 50offset and a 64.1 center-bore. can't get closer to stock than that. when I get the first containers, I'm going to experiment with tire sizes, so 235/35/19 may still have enough meat to compare with 225/40/18 in ride quality and still have clearance. Usually 19"x 8.5" wheels are available for rear wheel drive cars as well as fwd, but I'm not even considering rear wheel drive, just Honda and Acura mainstream vehicles. I will also be coming out with a forged multipiece wheel for 5x114.3 for the bigger acuras like the new TL, new RL, MDX, s2000, and nsx midyear. those wheels will be custom built with optional widths, staggered and infinite finnishes, as well as a deep lip.
