I see it! I like them. The inspyres I like more. the servos look like some lusso or russo wheels that anthony_chirico has.

RonDog-

Looks like things are coming together for you...I really do not care for the Servo, but I do like the Inspyre in the Silver. Looking forward to the prospects of a nice body kit...I guess we will wait and see.

Something to consider...would be a Grille kit for the 01-03 CL/TL.

Grille-tech is working on a set, but it could be a long time before we ever see one.

I have built my own grille, but it was a ton of work and getting it powder-coated is tough for a home project. If you could have them mass produced then it might make better sense.

I am sure you have a ton on your plate, but it is something to consider...

I def want to make a custom grille for our cars, like a deep intake grillewith some nice preforated metal in flat black orbrushed aluminum, but that will take alot of work to find a company to build them the right way. Soon enough. I can see why other companies won't really do much for the CL and now that the car is discontinued, there is hesitance to produce anything for us. But I will be working diligentyly for those loyal customers who stick with the CL.

why wouldnt these work on ANY car besides a honda/acura?? surely that offset range with work with cars not made by honda and that bolt pattern isnt anything special or specific to honda. i bet those servos would look nice on my Audi A6

centerbore, right now it is at 64.1 which is the acura spec. if Audi is smaller, it will fit but it won't be hubcentric and the wheel will rest on the lugs risking vibrations. in the future,i may open it up a little for hub adapters, but I wanted to focus on Acura vehicles first.

Mailbox full so:

I may consider picking up a set and polishing them for you. That way the set I get in return can also be polished and potentially sold, with a core charge of course, and so on, and so on....

I'm going to check pricing and see if I can get this done next week. I'll let you know.

Rondog - From your website:

INSPYRE
Sizes: 5x114.3
-18”x 7.5” +50mm
-18”x 8.5” +42mm
-19”x 7.5” +50mm
-19”x 8.5” +42mm
Finishes:
-Hyper Silver
w/ Machined Face.
-Chrome.

SERVO
Sizes: 5x114.3
-17”x 7.0” +50mm
-17”x 7.0” +42mm
-18”x 7.5” +50mm
-18”x 7.5” +42mm
Finishes:
-Hyper Silver
w/ Machined Face.
-Chrome.

are the wheel/offsets as listed above for the SERVOs correct? For the INSPYREs you have a fixed (50mm) offset for the 7.5"ers (regardless of diameter) and a fixed (42mm) offset for the 8.5"ers (regardless of diameter), yet for the SERVOs you have a fixed width for each diameter, but with two offset choices. Am I missing something?

Also, do I recall you mentioning something about wheel/tire packages?
And how soon until you get some real photos of the variations mounted on cars (vehicle showcase).

And finally, I don't see any mention about shipping charges. Is this something you have yet to figure out?
tks for the info, and looking forward to seeing these things for real.

Rondog, I take my hat off to you!!! Unbelievable, the CL will be saved by people just like you...I rather spend my money with a true Acura/Honda tuner than with some of those huge warehouse jerks! Now I need to get out there and "Get Money!" for a set of your wheels.

Nice. Count me in for a set of Inspyres silver in either 18 or 19's x 7.5. The 19's look sweet, but I do not want any rubbing when I get the car dropped, so I might need some help with choosing a tire and rim size when the time comes. It's going to be about a year before I get them, because I am on deployment, but excellent job, thats pretty much the exact style rim I was looking for. They are made specifically for Honda/Acura, so I assume the 50 offset will not have any negative side effects, right? I support the small businessman, and I have the ronjonwheels website saved in my email just in case I forget!

everything above is correct, the servos fit the cls, tls, and rsx and the inspyres fit the cls, tls and 04 TL. I thought that the servo wouldn't appeal to 04TL guys anbd the Inspyre wouldn't appeal to the rsx guys. had to have cost efficiency. as for the tire packages, I'm gonna take a knee on that, right now, i have to start moving the wheels and seeing what to order next, plus, I would rather ou guys get the tires you want mounted and balanced by your reputable guy. I'm not at that level yet when it comes to tires and mounting. shipping varies according to your location, call in with your zip code and i can get you some more info. I am working on getting actual gallery photos of the wheels mounted on the cars, i just got he wheels 24hrs ago, it takes time. thanks for your interest.

there will be no rubbing, with the high offset and 7.5 width. I am going to experiment with different tire sizes like 225/40/19 and 225/35/19 to see what I can get away with. thanks for your support.

Hey rondog,

Any idea when these are going to start really being available to board members? I'm flat broke now, but once I get some cash this summer, this is gonna be my first purchase.

Maybe I missed it, how were these made? Doubtfully forged...but welll made? I got really bent over for my Mille Miglia wheels and I trusted the name...Mille Miglia is a pretty big name. Someone sneezed next to my car and it bent my wheels. :P No more Mille Miglia.

Shipping and (do you get a discount or tires?). I'm interested. If you can give me one trial rim to drive through Boston with. Bwaaahhhhaahhhaahhh! No really...they look good. Once they are tried and true I might....no seriously. I like them. Inspire. 4x18x7.5 shipped....

Those chrome inspyres don't look very shiny in that picture, do you have better pictures coming? Are they triple plated? Looking good, still don't know if I like servo or inspyre better.

The inspyres dont look shiny in the pic, but i have seen them in person and they are hot. Just remember that they dont have much Surface to chrome. And for blackmagic, i have a friend that bent a set of forged BBS wheels, so its not always the company, its how you hit that pot hole sometimes.

I had never really considered rim but since this would be unique tot he Acura world and would be from a dedicated member I am seriously reconsidering my initial thoughts.

As I said earlier, I’ll take my Servo’s in silver.

They will definitely require some big brakes behind them though.

same manufacter that ASA uses, and the wheels are high pressure cast, not gravity cast. Once again, I have bent 3 wheels in my life, they where 1 18" and 2 19" and I knew they were bent when I hit those potholes. Physics can bend and crack even forged wheels, especially when your running 35 series tires. but we'll see, i'm goint to have the chrome inspires in 19" so i will be prety much testing these out as well to see just how they hold up.

funny you asked ... the wheels wheren't even balanced, i just mounted them to see how they would look. the Inspyres are with 235/35/19 and have a nice amount of sidewall in person to help the ride a bit. the Servos have 225/40/18, only because i had those in my garage, 235/40/18 or 225/45/18 would still look just as good with more comfort than these. don't mind my drop, i had a bad batch of used comptechs which look barely dropped in combonation with the silver. I photoshopped the rear wheel on some pics to get a better idea of how the whole car will look.

When are you going to start taking orders? (just checking my finances)

Specifically on the 18" double spoke ones

EDIT:

NM, I see the May date in an earlier post. I was going to order some Nakayama Vador 5 wheels. But yours blow them away.
