RonJon Wheels... Actual Photos of the 1st Wheels!!!

Finally, after weeks of sleepless nights, i test fitted them and they fit PERFECT. I shot them quick, but tommorrow i'm going to mount tires and shoot them on the car. I still have to wait until may 10th to recieve the rest of the production, but at least I know how they will look! Pricing is below, but there is a 10% discount to members of ths acura forums. I weighed them too, the 18" silver weighs exactly 22.4lbs without a tire. Check out the website to see all the rest of the fitement specs and info. enjoy.

these were photoshoped on real quick, servos with 225/40/18, but you can put 235/40, or 225/45 for some extra meat and still not rub.

235/40 in 18 is almost dead even w/ stockers for revs/mile. I would definately go with that size on the servos. Now I need $$$$ But I'm def gonna get it, cause I'm DIGGING those rims. Servos + Some new AVS ES100 in 235/40 = YUM!

EDIT: Is that grille on your car for sale on your site too?

I will be the first to say...they look awesome but a little lip wouldn't hurt. I could see myself curbing those just like the CLS rims. Servos are tight, kinda looks like those foose wheels but more aggresive.

remember that feeling you would get from opening up presents on christmas morning? I got that again x 10 when i got these from Fedex. I can't wait to mount these things on my car for real, 19" chrome inspires with 225/40/19 tires for exra comfort, and they will fill up the wheel wells pretty nice.

Those are Photochoped?!

Anyways...my vote goes to the Inspyres.

Also how wide? What's the offset? And how much more does the chromies weigh?

you have that auto tilt side mirror, just be careful. high offset wheels are hard to deep dish, they end up having that fake deep look, but in reality, the spokes just curve and are on the same plane as the edge of the lip. RonJon wheels isn't about fake deep dish or fake 3-piece looking wheels with rivets, just sporty wheels which are a blend of tuner and luxury wheels for Acura. I'll manage to do a dish wheel down the line for the new RL and TL since they both have wide widths and lower offsets.

check the site for all the specs down to the hubcentric centerbore, www.ronjonwheels.com and the chromies weigh all different weights, I'll post them soon. thanks for the compliments, God knows I tried to make these wheels as hot as can be.

nice, now wheres the kit?? I think the most overlooked part about kits is the sideskirts, you should try to replicate the side skirts of the sema car, the front is a bit overrated.. i liked the photoshop job you did on page 4, get the ball rolling on that and the cl will finally have a decent kit for it

Dude, I wish i could do the kit at the same time, but i have a shitload of work on top of this wheel company and I'm running the whole thing myself, and funding it with my savings. Next month i'm going to have conferences with a bunch of kit makers and I'll develop it as it goes. These things take a while and they are always getting delayed.

No 18x8

If people are going to run 235/40/18...then shouldn't there be 18x8s?

:ghey: or not...if you want to be a serious competitor...paying attention to tire specs *might be a good idea. Regardless if it fits or not...I have yet to see a tire manufacturer recommend a 235/40/18 fit on a 7.5 inch width wheel.

tire rack has a universal system to fit one wheel onto many makes and models, regardless of the suspension components and caliper clearance. they have spacers and hubrings adapters to fix their wheel problems. their offsets are also way lower than OEM and when you mention your car is lowered with H&R, they reconsider if the wheel will rub. I am selling wheels, if you want to put 225/45/18 or 235/40 18 it's your choice, but 7.5" is closer to OEM's 7" CL-S width and the 6.5" TL-S width than 8" that tire rack suggests. but I can guarentee that my wheels will fit the CL-S as well as every other car in the acura line better than any company out there, that's what they are meant for. and they are hubcentric, unlike any other company out there. Tire rack may be the Big Dog, but when they are motivated by sales, I am motivated by making a properly fitting product.
