For kicks, I just did a google image search on "red rims" and here are some of the results -- Your choice.

 

EVO doesnt look thattttt bad IMO....Then again, you could put purple rims on an EVO and it'll still look good...lol How badass is the guy in the 2nd pic....lmao!!

 

There's a big difference between an EVO and a CLs.

not too sure on a CL though, i'd have to see it to judge (pic or photoshop)

Just hope you really thought this out because personally, I wouldn't do it....

 

I would go dark rims with red accents... but not straight up red rims..

I'vem seen red faced rims with apolished step lip on a white S2K somewhere, dind't look bad, but usually thats reserved for JDM style wheels, 15"-17" max. If your going for the bling look to match your car color, usually a few custom sccents on the sides of the spokes, not the face, wouold do the trick.

i could only see red faced rims on a civic for that "jdm" look.

 

I say it kinda depends on what color your car is. If it was black, then a black with red lipped wheel would look sick IMO. Any other color of car it would most likely look :theghey:

it all depends on the color of you car and what 'style' you're attempting to convey.

here's a pretty clean car with red wheels:

 

If your going for the "Tuner" look, then go for it, but if you just want to match with your car, ALOT of other combos work. Like previously stated, a darker wheel with a red lip perhaps, or maybe a gunmetal color with red accents. If I were you, I'd slap some Gold rims on red. Looks rich and complete. If gold doesnt float your boat, black or a dark gunmetal grey will look great. A buddy of mine has black rims on his '94 GSR and it looks awesome!!

go red dude. just go red. i secretly want to paint mine red. i would just get flamed again like i did when i painted them gold.

im dying to go red, but then again i have a 1st gen.

im not sure how it would look on a 3.2CL, but i say you go for it. but im hoping your car is black or white, cuz red looks the best on those colors.
