all depends on what kind of ride you want and how much money you are willing to spend just to warn you once you drop it you will just keep dumping money on it like I am

Loopy Dude, I have a auto with B@G shocks/springs YOU DO NOT NEED A CAMBER KIT it a waste of your money , I work at a car Dealer that slams cars and have a top of the line alignment rack they do alot of aftermarkey stuff and they are the ones that did my car and alignment was PERFECT after drop , the toe was just off a little but they said they got it so close to stock that no one will EVER notice. I just got my progress sway bar yesterday will be putting that on with moog sway bar links tommorrow.
You have a CL-P (not type-s) thats why its floating feeling the suspention is not nearly as stiff as the type-s, if you have little money but want to get rid of most that floaty feeling first get a RSB that will help alot and its $150 compared to $500 for springs/shocks. The car will not rub i go over speed bumps everyday at my work and I have alot of stuff in my trunk and back has NEVER rubbed!

I hope this helps!

That helps a lot. I should have about $1200 to spend by the end of summer. I really want a good suspension that is almost as smooth as stock. Does the Progress bar come with poly bushings?

I am pretty sure it does I did not open the box yet just threw it in the trunk.
I'm gonna get someone to install it maybee tommorrow or tuesday , so I will let you know!
The CL non Type-S is a more stiff suspention for a more sporty feel the non S is a floaty feeling.

Should I get the front sway also? On BuyEibach.com you can get both for $255 or so.

the rear gives the most improvement you don't really need the front but it will give you some improvement

Getting the front may introduce more understeer. Stick with the rear to make it rotate.

FYI, alot of autocrossers run without a front sway bar, and a BIG RSB. These cars aren't RWD, so having the back end rotate like such is a damn good thing.

Does the Eibach Pro plus ride harsh? Noticed the drop for it was 1.5". Just wandering if you (Stoned CL) thought about or researched it? Seems like you have done some research. Seen your pics nice hard to beleive it rides like stock. That's awesome! Acurazine kicks great knowledge and info. Thanks.

Good to know. Should the front end links be replaced or not? My acura cl-p only has 60k miles on it. Looking for better handling. Thanks.

If your endlinks are shot, then yea replace them. But if not, it's not really worth the hassle of trying to break the old ones loose.

When i did my research for my shocks/springs it was between tokico blue shocks with tannabe and other springs I can't remember. All those setups where at least $100 more then the setup i got. I did look into the eabach kit (i think springs/shocks where somewhere around $550) The only reason I went with B@G over the eabach kit was price, my car has 165k miles I didnt wanna go to crazy but 1 mod ALWAYS leads to anouther and anouther.
But when I say the B@G rides like a stck type-S, I really mean that my girl and I went to atlantic city the day after i did the setup (120 miles each way)
And she would be the first to bitch that the ride was too harsh she didnt not want me to dump a penny into this car! If the eabach and B@G kit where the same price I prob would have went with eabach they seem to be bigger in the after maket buesness the B&G. I have not one complaint about my setup but like a said if eabach was priced the same i would have went with them!
I hope this helps..
BTW the only reson I changed my front swat bar link was becuz it was making noises and I wanted to eliminate everything that would have beeen making a noise!

I just put my progress RSB on today , I used the first holes, Not the end ones, The first ones are for the tighter setting. I only drove about 20 miles and it is POURING rain but I all-ready did notice a difference which amazed me! Almost all the body roll is gone!

Yeah it helps alot. Found the Eibachs for $496.84 Springs/dampers. Probably go w/ Eibach rsb though for the warranty. Might go w/B&G and used the diff. in money for moog links. Dunno?

Yeah you do notice a Difference with the RSB more then I thought I would notice.
The stock sway bar links are such a pita to get off there round so u cant get a good grip on it when unscrewing the bolt and the whole thing turns with the bolt. If u are gonna get RSB deff get the sway bar links cuz those stock links are a royal pita to take off , I cant imagine tring to get them back on!

Yea ^^

Usually I don't get that understeer feeling unless Im going into the turn too hot. At which point I gas it then let off and she comes around. Kind of hard to explain, just takes practice and you have to feel the car.

The B&G setup is very similar to the Eibach damper/Pro Kit setup. Granted, Eibach definitely has a better name than B&G but the B&G product is definitely good quality and I think they are really going to be a fierce competitor soon.

That's not too bad.

Would you say it was easy and did you install new bushings at the same time?

I told u that u should have went with the progress bar I deff notice a difference, I do have it at the stiffest setting though. The progress bar is adjustable it has 2 holes on each side.

Now its time for some headers and a unorthadoz underdrive pulley to get the power to match the handling.. u with me 2fast4you?

id be skeptical, the buys feed back sucks. just read most of the negatives: it breaks, never shipped, or doesnt fit.

Ive not had an issue with it. Theres people on here that run it too. Through the first 10 pages the negative comments I've seen were not for the pulley.

Not sure why its cheaper, but its the same company.

Understeer was cut down a lot with the rear away...HUGE improvement. Car feels more stable at highway speeds as well. I just got a chance to test out my progress RSB today and I was impressed. can't wait till my coilovers and camber kits are on. For the people looking to start suspension mods, RSB is the cheapest mod to start with noticeable improvement. Good bang for the buck.
