Rear Strut Bar / C-Pillar Bar... any accord suspension experts?

long story short... the 6TH Generation Accord guys said that 99 EK9 Civic Rear Bar fit, and also the 90-93 integra bar fit. i know our suspensions are identical, so i assume this would fit on the cl too?

Sounds interesting, I would love to tighten up the rear of my CL as well. The only real difference I've seen between the two cars is the weight. Everything else is damn near identical.

I'd be worried about minor fitment issues though.

http://stores.ebay.com/HiProSpeed-Au...Brace-Bar.html

I found an ebay store that sells this stuff for cheap.

EDIT: If you buy, and give the on fitment. I'll be trailing along as well.

a while back, j's racing made a rear c-pillar bar for the accord. I bought one, but turns out it wasn't wide enough for the cl. a rear strut bar would fit, but c-pillar i'm not sure about.

yea, i was trying to find those, but couldnt really find any being sold by members. those went under the seat bolt bolts, i believe that's why. i'm trying to find something that goes on the strut mounts because i don't want it to be visible.

I wouldn't mind mine showing, I barely have people in the rear seat anyways. If anybody asks, I'll just say it's a JDM clothes hanger.

The C-pillar for the integra has an adjustable length from 43"-45". It will probably be a tight fit. But, there could be a quick fix for this though if the length doesn't match up.

Maybe fabricate the part circled in the red?

i dont like the cpillar bar, im trying to figure out a way to get a rear strut bar to fit. although i would think the pillar bar is easier to get to fit.

I'm not to worried about the c-pillar bar, small people go in the back of my car any ways. I'll give them a courtesy pillow if they feel their head is going to bang up against it. I can also use it for hanging up my clothes. :chuckles:

Mr. Clean, did you buy a rear tie bar this is straight, or one that has a "U" bend?

Yes the 99ek9 bars fit fine, i have an accord. I would like to have a rear strut bar but not going to happen.

The only thing is you have to stretch the bar out
