Question about lowering....

My TL drove amazing even being dropped 1.7" and 18" rims. If I do that to my CL will it ride very nice still? What have you guys done and does the ride still handle well and feel nice? I figure if my TL rode nice, my CL would if I do the same. My plan is to have 18's and a 1.5-1.7" drop.

I'm on H&R 51858's w/stock struts and I love the ride. It's definitely more firm than stock, especially since the summer UHP tires were installed (235/45ZR17). Before those tires were installed, the only time it would feel any different than stock was going around corners (now it corners nearly flat), hitting BIG bumps, and for the first couple of weeks, I remember noticing the loss of that "squat" feeling you get when hitting the throttle from a stand still. I don't really notice that anymore since I'm now used to them.

What kind of lowering are you thinking of doing? (brand, springs, coilovers?)

I had Goldline springs in my TL, they were great. In my Accord I had Eiback two different times and those were ok. I want to lower no more then 1.7". Is that what you have?

The front is about 1.7~2.0. Not too sure though since I didn't do messurements prior to the install. The back is about 1.5.

Never heard of Goldline's for the 2nd Gen CL's.

I'm not a big Eibach fan, they seem too bouncy.

Oh, and I'll be on 19's soon so we'll see how that looks.
