Pulling to the right

I just had new tires put on and an alignment at the same time. Car had been way out of alignment for some time.

Anyway...the car still seems to pull to the right when cruising, taking off, and stopping. I'm wondering if there could be something else causing this to happen, or is there a strong possibility that the shop didn't align me 100%? They showed me the data sheet post-alignment and everything appeared in order.

Id mention that it still pulls to the right. Have them put it back on the rack and double check.
Other than that it could be a few things, a brake hanging up (front or rear), trans.

Swap the front tires report back what happens. If the car still pulls right it's the car. If the car pulls left now it's the tire/rim

Same with me, i got my alignment done and still pulls off to the right. Going to get new tires see where that leads me. If it still pulls off to the right gonna take it back to an alignment shop. Hey Sundevil_CL where do you take your car to get an alignment? Want to find somewhere that does a good job.

I had it done at Sears near PV Mall when I got the new tires. I think I'll take it back there and have them re-check it.

no matter how straight they make the alignment your car will always DRIFT to the right or to the left depending on the crown of the road. pulling is when you let go of the steering wheel and it immediately pulls. even with a good alignment if the car drifts but stays in the same lane for about 7 seconds (depending on the crown of the road) its totally normal.

Thats exactly what it's doing...i let go the wheel on a straight road it goes to the right. Even when I have the steering wheel straight it goes to the right. So basically i have to tilt my steering wheel to the left a little to drive straight.

I thought they did a pretty decent job. It was really a matter of convenience that I had it done there. They had my tires in stock for a reasonable price and could fit me in after work.

No, I graduated a few years ago. Will probably be going back next year to pursue my MBA, however.

All depends on the mechanics there. There is no reason they couldnt do a good job. I bring mine to my local sears and they have always done great work on the alignments

You need to have them adjust your steering wheel or something like that. I went to the Acura dealership a while ago for an alignment and that same thing happened to me. They brought the car in for less than 2 minutes and brought it back out straight...lol.

I just put new tires on my ack and when i was gettin them put on the tire installer said i need to get a alignment again because of the new tires and he said he could look at my last tires and tell how they were wearin, and i need a alignment. But my ack doesnt pull when i accelerate to left or right, i never have gotten a alignment the whole time i had the car ? Also do any of you guys notice more wear on the front tires than the rear, and is it normal?

You need an alignment once in a while. Just cause you don't feel anything doesn't mean your car is aligned to specs. New tires should always get an alignment.

And yes it's a FWD car so the front tires wear more. Frequent tire rotation 5-7K miles will help to curb this.

I have the same problem with my car pulling to the right. Even if I start it out going left a lil, it still gets back to the right in about 4 sec. It's annoying. But so are a lot of things on my car lately... Doesn't matter what road or grade I am on. Even if the grade is the the left, it still goes right. I have had others drive and comment as well.

I have had new tires and an alignment as well. Shop says alignment is up to spec.

if your alignment is dead on and it still pulls it can be radial pull. what you can try is rotate your front wheels from left to right (if theyre not directional) and see if the car still pulls in the same direction. if it doesnt then you know its the tires if it does then theres something wrong with your suspension and the alignment shop doesnt know what theyre doin.
