That is an excellent tire. I have them on my car right now. I have had the Parada, Toyo TI-S, Nitto 555, and Falken 451. I will have to say that I am really enjoying the P7000 series. They grip real well and handle great on the roads. They look great as well.

I would grab a set if I were you!! That's not a bad price at all for them. I think I will get an extra set just because that's such a good deal. Thanks for the post.

Hey, I just went to the website and saw them. I have the Supersport P7000. I don't know how the regular P7000 is. Still for $161.00 w/ Free Shipping isn't bad. A lil more yes, but still. I was all excited but then not cause of the extra $144. Still that is not a bad price at all for the quality of the tire.

I might still do that but am thinking about headers.

You have any suggestions? I could have gotten the comptechs a long time ago but opted not. I was really excited about the Prototype but then the results weren't as impressive as I thought they were going to be. The OBX sounds good for the price and are real close in gains with the comptech. I was hoping to see if Greddy was going to do anything and see what kind of numbers they will show.

I am also kind of interested in the Greddy Evo exhaust, you know anything about them? Horsepower gain, quality and such??

I am still contemplating on if i'm going to keep the car or not and if not, then I am going to stop doing stuff to the car and take it back to stock and look for something else. I have my eyes set on a few cars.... Well ttyl... Late!

They are very excellent. I was impressed on how well they grip. I'll take the VSA off and mess around in the rain and sometimes it won't let me spin as much as I want because it grips. But I am ranking these tires at the among the top of my list so far. I thought they would be too soft and wear out and not handle as well, but they have done a great job for me so far and proved me wrong.

headers: OBX is good enough for me. no clue on the greedy or the PR headers if they would ever be produced.
EVO exhaust no clue either... I prefer to do a Cat back just to replace that rusty T pipe however, I do not like something too loud nor just for the show.. if they do not add more powere why bother....

How do they compete with Comptech? I know in the price there's no comparison... I have the comptech exhaust but thought they look too small. Was going to get the HKS originally but there was a backorder. Now the Greddy is out but kinda expensive especially if they don't do much. So what do you think about the tires?

I have now the Nittos, I am considering the Yoko ES-100. And now you are saying that there are 2 P7000 regualr and SuperSport ... do not know yet.... And there is choices like Azineth...

As for the exhaust, it could be cheaper to do a custom 3" SS pipe starting from the Cat and dropping the pre-muffler.

So now I am

lol........ I know so many decisions. If you get the P7000... go with the Supersport. They are great! Yoko's are good, but not sure about those. I had the Parada Spec 1's & 2's. They are good tires. Falkens are good as well. Just depends on the look really of the tread design. That's what I go by. Cause I know they all make quality tires. It's a hard decision but u'll get through it.

Yeah, they are great tires. But wanted to try out something new. So I got the Supersport P7000 cause I have never had Pirelli's.

The 235 makes it look fuller in the wheel area with it lowered and 18's. Also makes it look more agressive and I like that alot. I had the 225/40/18 and now went to the 235/40/18 and looks so much better.

AFitchTLS...

BE WARNED!!!

The SuperSport P7000 has a load rating of 85... That is TOO LOW..

Stock CLS/TLS requires a re-inforced SL 93 rated tire... I put a 91 rated tire becasue the 91 is the lowest acceptable on the CL-P and regular TL....

I have a question. My Falken tires right now are sized 215/45/17 x 7. Can I get a new set of tires with the size of 225 or even 235 on 45/17???

I don't see why not...... jus go look at what tire brand you want and see what sizes they have available...

i was inquiring and someone said prototype would be available by end of sept, which is now. They site said they would be available late august, they have more impressive lower gains than the cts but i wouldnt wait for them. Has greddy even mentioned headers yet? The best bet for $350 shipped is to go with obx i think their is a group buy going on for em.

Greddy has mentioned it but no word on if or when they will be available.

Prototype is still up there in price and no telling on when they will be releasing them.

For the price and very very similar gains and quality of the OBX headers to the others, I think the OBX is a great buy. Because you can get that and save so much and use the rest of the money towards something else that you have just saved by not getting the comptechs or prototype whenever they release it.
