piecing together a suspension kit....need help

I JUST ordered wicked tuning rear camber kit... for 100 shipped (whata steal... i thought)

now I am looking for a good deal on SPC front camber kit... but I DO NOT KNOW how many degrees I need of adjustment.

I am looking for a 2 inch drop all around... does anyone know which front camber kit I need to get..

MUCH APPRECIATED.

and as for coilovers I WANT ground control with koni yellows. which will run 1150 with shipping..

OR I could get K sports for 900 shipped which comes with aluminum top mounts.

if I go with koni's and ground control do I need to get new mounts as well?

I had ksports before and they worked great on my ford probe, just beating up corners like no tomorrow and they held up nicely.

If I got them again I'd take it easy on this set as I have no intention of driving the shit outta the car as I did before... would you go with ksport?

your wisdom is much appreciated folks.

I'm twiddling my thumbs over here.

WHAT SHOULD I DO???

personally i rather go full on coilovers, and not stupid f@cking sleeves, that way they are match perfectly by the manufacture, especially if you are already going to be spending that type of money on a suspension setup

^ Agreed, a coilover will also give you an option on drop height.
For the most part on this forum Ksport has gotten overall good reviews (waiting for morgan to chime in)

for the front camber kit I'm not sure what degrees you need but don't go with SPC. Get the adjustable ingalls control arms, you will save yourself from other problems in the end.

I would have gotten the ingalls rear arms over the wicked myself. For the front i would get the ingalls full control arms since that gives you the option to drop it the most without the nut on the other kits hitting the shock tower.

For the coilovers I would go with the tein ss over the ksports.

ummm.... but before you put them on you gotta make sure to clearence them so they don't hit the shock tower and destroy the balljoints (instead of being too tall, they are wider then stock, so they touch slightly on the widest part)
basically all i did was take a grider to them, and grinded the part that was hitting away a little at a time ( i also did a little on the shock tower itself too, but most of it was to the arm itself though), till the outer most part of the arm/balljoint started to hit the very top of the strut tower

and as long as you follow good workmanship (such as stress relieving the holes that appear on the arm after you grind some it away and such; mainly taking a drill bit and rounding the ends of said hole, to get rid any sharp point that a crack could appear), i don't think it will compromise the arm itself enough to cause any issues

i don't have a camber kit on my car and my alignment was still within spec. i've never had any camber wear on my tires either. Depends how low you go. I'm guessing i'm around 2" or a bit less. Camber kit is a good piece of mind though and i do suggest it, i just never got around to it.
The ingalls full front control arms in the front is a good go. If you get just the ball joint you run the risk of it hitting your strut tower on big dips if you're really low. so i'd go with that....i think Nersh linked it above.

if I go 2 inches lower on the front without a camber kit (ON the front) won't the camber be off? how off is off??

and wouldn't that lead to uneven tire wear slightly?

are there different variations of the degrees of adjustment?

or is this one the only one u can get?

i believe stock camber recommendations are front 0 to -1 and rear 0 to -1.5. I was just with the spec like i said above and didn't see any camber wear on my tires.

Anyways, you should get the camber kit either way as it will save your ball joints in the end. you can either get the one you posted the link to, or get just the adjustable ball joints like these:http://www.ingallseng.com/35590-adju...all-joint.html
If you get the ball joints, you'll want part #35590.

shyt I think I'll just get the upper control arms from ingalls. I don't 1/2 assing my ride.

doing it next spring so I am in no rush. it's just they are 200 more than just buying the ball joints which I dun't like but w/e. gotta pay to play.
