pictures oftein basic drop kit with anthricite 19s

i wasnt able to drop my car as much as i would have hoped due to some rubbing issues, but i have the tein basic on the car and it handles like a dream.

after the install, we took the car for a test run and we hit bottom after hitting some harsh roads.

the guy took me back to the shop and raised my rear up a bit.

it doesnt look like a huge drop, but its lower than stock and it feels so much better as well.

i think my offset doesnt allow for extreme drops.

but i think it loos goods.... any comments would be nice....

those pics are after a drop, what is the offset of your wheels, you should be able to go alittle lower. i have mine down to about a 1 finger gap all around with my 19's and 235 rubs once i awhile but will have my fenders rolled soon. Good Luck

niz181,

without sounding too stupid, i really dont know thw offset of the wheels.

i was so obsessed with the 19 x 7.5 number that i forgot to ask.

the rims come in only 2 sizes in the 19s. a 35 and a 45 offset.

the guy at the shop said they were too wide to go too much further down.

he took the fronts to the suggested drop level and he had the back down pretty far, but after a test ride and a loud rub he wanted to take the rear height up.

i dont wanna roll my fenders... i was hoping that after i got the 7.5 number correct that all my fears would be calmed.

damn offset.... shyt....

how badly does your car rub? the noise i heard was loud, so i dont wanna risk tire damage or anything.

holla,

kumar

you offset is too low. i think you purchase the 35mm offset wheels.

this might help you understand. www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm

wow, is that the case??? the 35 offset wheel??

shyt... all i know is the guy said that the wheel is a bit too far out to get a good drop.

the car has a smalld drop, but not like the crazy drops i see online.

still looks pimp... can i roll with these as they are? wont cause any problems right?

holla,

kumar

Yeah, it looks like you may have an offset of 35. You should've gone with the 45 offset, that's usually the lowest you want to go on the CL.
