Ouch! My Centerline Wheels got hurt (PICS)

Tell me this doesn't suck! Damn construction....Damn manhole covers... Hopefully Wheel Collision can fix it. Luckily my ride is not affected but I know I don't want to drive around too much w/ a screwed up wheel...

1. From a Distance

2. Closeup of wheel

3. And the F'n thing has a hairline crack on the lip now

where did you get the cl-s door sills, and how do the 18" rims affect the respons and pick up, im debating on getting 19" rims for they might slow me down at the line.
get back at me about the door sills @ 2mandojr@cox.net

I hit a raised manhole cover on a road being repaved. It is a mystery to me how I managed to screw up the wheel and not blow out the tire, maybe my pressure needs to be checked

I got the door sills through a GB here, the 18" wheels effect ride quality slightly on bumps - I cant tell a difference on normal roads.

Response seems the same if not better, the wheels only weigh a tad over 14 pounds

Wheel collision can fix that no problem. No worries.

Ouch!!! I've hit some big ass potholes a few times with my rims, but so far I've been lucky. Are you gonna replace the whole rim or try to repair it?

that's what i was thinking, that thing looks like tin foil. By the way, just buy a new one, it'll never be the same, and you'll end up wasting your dough fixing it, then buying one after.

Yeah they are forged but I caught the lip of the rim ....

The ride is fine so I am just going to have wheel collision fix it - It will only cost half as much if I have it repaired, and supposedly they do really really good work

That looks pretty bad but I've seen some of the bent wheels a local repair shop have fixed and it's amazing what they can do. Good luck.

that sucks man.

got a question: i just put 18"s on mine. the steering starts to shake slightly starting at 70km/h. the guys checked the balancing again and said it was fine. they say i need adjusting rings. they also want me to get wheel alignment done too. it the alignment required? n' is the ring gonna fix the problem?
