Opinion For Struts?

Hello All,

Hope everybody is having a good weekend so far! I am shopping for new struts. I have had tokico struts before and have no complaints about them. Although I was reading the forum saying they are a bit noisy? What company makes the best struts for our car but can keep cost low for me. Also, if you have struts for sale that are barely used, I may be interested. I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks

Tokico Blues/Illuminas, Bilstien Sports and Koni Yellows are the ones that come to mind. The Tokicos are probably the most cost effective. I'd go with the Illuminas if I had to choose.

Tokico Blues on 2 CLS's lowered on CT springs & couldn't be happier. Good ride. Noisy? Never heard that. Mine have always been silent. Likely a bad install or some other problem.
Ebay seller JDMWERKS. Cheapest shipped price & many here have bought the Tokico's from him. He also sells the adjustable ones if you want to go that route.

For a little more $ the Bilsteins are a nice setup as well. A few have them & they seem to be a very nice ride as well.

I think you mean KYB. Its is the KYB GR-2 gas struts. I also bought this but not installed it yet. I got it on ebay for 200 shipped to me. I heard theyre great for the drop/handling and have a stock feel.

I heard on another forum, tokico is not recommanded by them because many of them died around 20k miles. I need stats on tokico!!

I don't know what cars this "other forum" run.

There are many here with a ton of miles on them.

I put 10K on 1 set(sold car) & so far have 10K on this set.
